Applying for a Liquor Permit

Important information

Please note that the City of Huntsville does not have applications for liquor licensing.  You must first visit your local TABC office and obtain an application packet.  Once you are in the process of completing your application you will need to visit either the city or county. Steps to apply

1. Check the map to ensure you are in an authorized zone.
2. Get an application packet from your local TABC outpost or district office. Office locations shown below.
3. Complete application and other required forms.
4. Contact the local TABC outpost or district office for instructions and business signage.
5. Give notification of application (if applicable).
6. Interview with TABC Staff.
7. Publish Newspaper Notice.
8. State, City and County Requirements – take all copies of your application to these offices in the order given on the list provided by the local TABC office
9. Submit your application.
