Mr. Lanny D. Ray
is the Managing Partner of the Huntsville law firm of Cantrell, Ray, Maltsberger & Barcus, LLP, a firm handling both civil and criminal matters. He and his wife, Sandra, chose to settle in Huntsville in 2003 to raise their three children, Zachary, Nathaniel and Samantha. Mr. Ray graduated from Northeast Louisiana University in 1982, and was commissioned into the Regular Army where he served for over ten years on active duty as an Infantry Officer. In 1993, Mr. Ray resigned from active duty and decided to enter the legal profession, graduating with honors from Baylor University School of Law in 1996. Since then, he has worked for the Louisiana Supreme Court and private law firms in College Station and Tacoma, Washington before coming to Huntsville.
