Background information
Matt was born and
raised in Huntsville. He was hired as a Maintenance worker at the N.B.
Davison waste water treatment plant in 1985. He was promoted to Crew
Leader in the Parks Department in May of 1991 and has held a supervisory
position in that department until his appointment as Interim Director of
Community Services in December of 2007. Some of Matt’s qualifications
include a Certified Pool/Spa Operators License, A Texas Structural Pest
Control Applicators License and a Playground Safety Inspectors License.
Matt is a Graduate of the Chamber of Commerce Huntsville Leadership
Institute, Class # 23.
