Parks & Leisure
COVID-19 VIRUS UPDATE
***The City of Huntsville wants you know that we are taking precautionary measures to ensure the public's safety by canceling city events that we are hosting.
Beginning March 18, we will be canceling all youth leagues' games and practices that take place in the parks or at the Aquatic Center for eight (8) weeks.
We are not closing parks, but encourage the public to adhere to the Center for Disease Control's (CDC) recommendation of not hosting a gathering of more than 10 people when it comes to parties at the park.
We will also be canceling all rentals through May 15 at City facilities (Library, Aquatic Center, Martin Luther King, Jr. Recreation Center, Gazebo and Field Rentals). We apologize for any inconvience and will give refunds to those who have already paid.***
