As our water system continues to build pressure overnight, residents may experience discolored water or trapped air within their pipes.
These are both common occurrences following repairs within a water system. Discolored water is caused by sediment and mineral deposits in the pipes that can be stirred up when water is turned off and then back on following work within a system.
The City is aware of this problem and expects the discoloration will diminish over the next couple of days as our system improves.
