The Huntsville Public Library will be closed on Friday, January 1 for the New Year's holiday, and will reopen on Saturday, January 2 at 12:00 p.m. The library will also be closed on Monday, January 18 in celebration of Martin Luther King Day, and will reopen on Tuesday, January 19.

Family Movie Night will be held on Friday, January 8. The doors to the Community Room will open at 5:00 p.m. with the movie beginning promptly at 5:30 p.m. Family Movie Night is sponsored by the Texas Children’s Health Plan Program. Complimentary drinks and popcorn are served and all viewers are encouraged to bring a pillow or blanket.
