Art Fun for Everyone2023-09-22T13:30:00Join us for an hour of creativity. Teen Ambassador Caleigh is offering Art Classes for our patrons. The classes are for beginners from the ages of 6 to 16. Caileigh will offer a new project each month. There will be painting, sculpting, and experimenting with several art styles and techniques. Classes will be held each Friday from 1:30 to 2:30. This program will be held from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. on the Fourth Friday of each month in the Rex Children’s Room. The September meeting date is September 22. This program is suggested for ages 5-12.

Foraging 2023-09-26T17:30:00Too many weeds in your yard? How about eating them! That’s what foragers do. It’s surprising how many plants, including those we call weeds, are edible. Forager Mark Merriwether Vorderbruggen will present “Edible Weeds” at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, September 26 at Huntsville Public Library. Vorderbruggen, a petroleum chemist, author, and educator of all things in the foraging world, has the experience and knowledge to provide the dos and don'ts of foraging.
