Public Hearing
Public hearing on the proposed budget for the City of Huntsville fiscal year, beginning October 1, 2025 through September 30, 2026, will be held on September 2, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. during the City Council meeting at the City of Huntsville Service Center Complex, 448 Highway 75 N, Huntsville, Texas, 77320. The proposed budget may be examined weekdays from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, at City Hall, 1220 11th Street, Huntsville, Texas, 77340 in the office of the City Secretary, and 24/7 on the City’s website at www.huntsvilletx.gov. This budget will raise more total property taxes than last year’s budget by $197,186 (2.14%), and, of that amount, $178,869 is tax revenue to be raised from new property added to the tax roll this year.
