[ARCHIVED] Workshop set for HOT funds

The City of Huntsville’s Hotel Occupancy Tax workshop will take place via Zoom on Tuesday, September 22 at 12 p.m.

The link to attend the Zoom workshop will be posted on the City’s website and social media pages. The workshop will be hosted by the Hotel Occupancy Tax Board and the Huntsville Arts Commission and is mandatory for those applying for funding from the City of Huntsville. 

The City allocates Hotel Occupancy Tax funds to assist with the funding of projects and events that promote the local hotel and convention industry. 

Scott Joslove, President & CEO of the Texas Hotel and Lodging Association, will be the guest speaker, explaining the appropriate use of Hotel Occupancy Tax funds. 

Applications for funding will become available on Wednesday, September 23. The application period will close on Friday, October 23 at 11:59 p.m.
