The City of Huntsville Transfer Station Facility will be closed for Good Friday, March 25, 2016. This will include all areas located in the Transfer Station Facility, such as the Recycling Drop Off Center, the Yard Waste Pile, The Tire Pile, The Metal Pile, and the TIPS Warehouse. The facility will be re-opened on March 26, 2016 from 7:30am to noon.

The City of Huntsville Solid Waste and Recycling Division will not be collecting curbside residential recycling on Friday, March 25, 2016. For those residents who receive curb side collection on Fridays, this service will resume the following Friday, April 1st. Any recycling outside of the cart will be picked up on this day.

Only commercial customers with dumpsters and rolloffs/compactors will have
garbage collected on Friday, March 25, 2016.
