Huntsville Main Street Program Advisory Committee

About the Board

The Main Street Program is a downtown redevelopment program at work in over 40 states and over 1,000 cities nationwide. It uses a combination of organization, economic development, infrastructure improvements, promotions and a cooperative effort that seeks to revitalize downtown areas.

The Main Street Board creates an annual work plan with goals to address each of the points of the Main Street Four Point Approach as set by the National Trust for Historic Preservation. The board communicates these goals to each individual committee and provides further direction as needed.
