Fire Department

The Huntsville Fire Department, established in 1925, provides fire protection, EMS First Response, and disaster/crisis management services for the residents of Huntsville. In addition to providing fire protection the department also provides the following services: HAZMAT operations, dive recovery operations, fire inspections, fire origin and cause services, fire education, and emergency management services through the Emergency Management Coordinator. The department is a combination department consisting of 22 full-time personnel and over 30 volunteer personnel.   


Firefighters are on duty 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. For more information contact the fire station.
